  • Project Engineer – Co. Waterford

    Role Summary:

     

    • A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join our client’s busy pharmaceutical site in Co. Waterford.
    • The successful candidate will provide engineering support for Cost Improvement Projects involving facilities, automation, equipment optimisation and sustainability.

     

    Core Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Identify and scope opportunities for further improvement in relevant process and equipment KPIs
    • Deliver projects on time, on budget and meeting all quality requirements.
    • Maintain compliance to GMPs, GDP & GEP implementing improvements under change control as required.
    • Development of User Requirement Specifications and other technical documents for tendering, construction, and validation of equipment.
    • Ensure process and equipment changes are properly tested to meet all site qualification and validation requirements.
    • Completing and where necessary creating data collection templates to track project metrics.
    • Track, record and communicate relevant project progress and mitigation for potential roadblocks/delays.
    • Engagement with all project stakeholders

     

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

     

    • Level 8 Engineering degree.
    • Greater than 2 years’ experience.
    • Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
    • Experience in strategic prioritisation and continuous improvement through data analysis & Lean six sigma methods.
    • Prior experience of project leadership of cross functional teams an advantage.
