Role Summary:

  • The Utilities Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects supporting site utilities and infrastructure.
  • The engineer will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engineering projects related to utilities and facility infrastructure across the site
  • Lead upgrades, ensuring compliance with GMP and contamination control standards
  • Develop project scopes, technical specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure projects comply with EHS, GMP, and site engineering standards
  • Perform risk assessments, design reviews, and change control documentation
  • Support commissioning, qualification, and handover of completed systems
  • Provide technical support for utilities systems and site infrastructure as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar discipline)
  • Minimum 5+ years’ engineering experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience with purified water, WFI, clean steam, process air, HVAC, plant steam, chilled water
  • Ability to coordinate with contractors and multiple projects simultaneously
