Objectives: To complete BOD, Detailed Design and Construction of a Laboratory Consolidation Project.

As part of an ongoing expansion, our client identified a requirement to consolidate and centralise their laboratories into a fallow space within an IDA industrial building which needed conversion from automotive component manufacturing use to GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The facility needed to include the following:

  • Raw Materials Lab
  • HPLC Lab
  • Write up areas
  • Other laboratory support areas (Oven Room, Washroom etc.)
  • Support office and meeting areas
  • Gowning area
  • Plant room area

Prochem completed Basis of Design and detailed design and provided construction monitoring support for the 2,000 m² facility.
