Role Summary:

  • To engineer and implement highly capable & effective manufacturing processes to meet business goals and objectives, in conjunction with providing technical/engineering maintenance & calibration support involved in delivering equipment/fixture type solutions that result in optimum manufacturing and capital repair practices.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Manufacturing Engineering of Capital Repair process in on site.
  • Drives execution of multiple CETS projects on the Clonmel site. (Capital Equipment Technical Services).
  • Will help progress MES, Work Instruction and Bill of Material (BOM) Updates and activities to support the new product implementation in Clonmel Capital Repair.
  • Works with Value Stream and Quality Engineering Manager to deliver business objectives.
  • Establishes and supports a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality policy, Quality System & the appropriate regulations for the area.
  • Ensure relevant documentation is prepared and updated in line with all Quality and Regulatory guidelines and promotes full compliance to all GMP & E&AS requirements.
  • Develop new equipment/processes as necessary.
  • Develop and implement the appropriate maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure processes always remain in control.
  • Manage the planning and execution of equipment validations per E&AS requirements.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in engineering project delivery (medical devices and/or pharmaceutical preferred).
  • Trade certification with substantial on-site maintenance experience will be considered.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and technical knowledge.
  • Works well within a team environment and on own initiative.
  • Ability to document own work clearly and precisely.
  • Excellent communication skills.
