Role Purpose:

  • A new opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join our client’s Engineering Department to support their Maintenance Team based at their busy pharmaceutical site in Co. Tipperary.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading pharmaceutical company in the Southeast of Ireland.

 

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To support the BCON Maintenance Project Team to set up a World Class paperless PM system. The CMMS System (SAP) incorporating SAP Asset Manager (SAM) is to operate as a paperless system. Laise with Maintenance Team, Vendors, suppliers and key site stakeholders to ensure system Incorporates Statutory Inspections, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance. with a mixture of Time based and Run Time based Task List.
  • Assisting in the execution of projects & providing guidance to ensure compliance to all relevant standards/codes and specifications associated. This will include all site activities associated with validation and handover to the operations & Maintenance team. Identify Training requirements for Technician Group and Operators and Manage implementation.
  • Familiarisation with PM & Calibration scheduling within the confines of an operating plant.
  • Change management is a critical process to be understood and controlled.
  • Ensure PM System addresses all HAZ-Ops actions generated as part of the Design and are installed in accordance with project specifications and change control procedures.
  • Ensure PM System meets the intent for High Potent facility with all relevant Bills of materials associated with correct Functional Locations.

 

Education & Qualifications Required:

  • BEng Level 8 in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Chemical or Process Engineering or relevant experience in similar roles.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a Project/Maintenance Engineering Role
  • Understands the typical project life cycle from concept through to qualification and has proven experience in this area.
  • Experience of working in either Mechanical, Process or Utility Systems
  • Familiar with Maintenance Management CMMS Systems such as SAP, Maximo, Hexagon or similar, financial management skills including an ability to work within budgets and engineering technical skills.
  • Excellent communication /presentation skills.

Desirable but not essential Criteria:

  • Experience in Oil and Gas or Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Knowledge of working in ATEX environment
  • Experience in liaising with Automation teams/systems.
  • Relevant knowledge on Intrusive and Non-Intrusive Maintenance programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of the customer/client relationship involved in Project Management.
